Spoiler Alert: Do not trust your eyes. It’s all fake.

The Earth is dying, diseases sweep the country, and famines are too common. Wade lives a poor life. After the death of both his parents his life starts to crumble and that’s when he discovers: The OASIS. The OASIS is a virtual world created by the famous James Donovan Halliday.

The OASIS is used mostly to be able to live in another world without having to leave this one. Anyone with access can go to school, play sports, talk to people, and play games in the OASIS. But all has changed. Halliday died now five years ago and with no heir. Halliday didn’t leave his fortune to someone he wanted to find someone worthy of it so he created the Halliday Easter Egg Hunt. This egg is hidden in the OASIS but to find it you have to first find and win 3 keys and then you have to decode the code to find the right door which the key opens. The people looking for the egg are called gunters. Some of them work in the clan and others work alone.

One day Wade almost accidentally finds (and wins!) the key to the first door. He is now at the top of the game and others quickly follow. To win the fortune Wade will have to face his virtual world but also the real one. A Bestseller by Ernest Cline full of adventure, action, and maybe even a spark of romance. I loved Ready Player One for its uniqueness. The style of writing was best for the genre of the book and the writing itself was perfection. I was very impressed reading this book. I think it’s one of the most sophisticated books I have ever read. The story is genius and the level of intelligence and patience to be able to write such a planned book is impressive.

Read Ready Player One you will not regret it.
