The First Pep Rally For The 2022-23 School Year
The first pep rally of this school year took place in the gym on Nov. 11, 2022, in which various performances took place. The coaches acknowledged the victories of the students who played fall sports, including volleyball, football, and cross country. The groups that performed were cheerleading, the CVMS select band, dance, honors theater, and choir.
Students who were performing and students who were on fall sports teams had to attend all three pep rallies. Once each sport team was announced, their coaches talked about their accomplishments including the 7th grade boys A & B teams and girls cross country placing district.
“It was one of the best performances I have ever seen put on by students. It was a really positive experience for me.” said Vedanti Patil (8).
Students spent most of their time in their respective advisory periods. Different grades had the pep rally at different times. Before the pep rally, students went to the Veterans Day assembly, one grade at a time.
“It was really fun how you got to hang out with your friends at advisory the whole day,” Nora Swanson (6) said.
