With the holidays coming up the Christmas spirit and trends come up too. Students have a bunch of different trends and traditions they like to do with their friends and family. 

There are a lot of different holiday trends that friends do with each other. 

“I am not too aware of a lot of the trends, but I like all the dressing up days we do like grinch day and Christmas headwear day,” Bay Browning (6) said. 

All the teachers are sure to be noticing a lot of these fun trends going on when students walk in the hallways and pass by. 

“I think it’s super fun to dress up as holiday themed,” Librarian Ms. Phillips said.

On Christmas you usually give gifts to each other, because it is the joy of giving. At school students are participating in Secret Santa’s and Burr Baskets. 

“I have been seeing burr baskets and secret Santa gifts around the school. Me and my friends just recently did as secret santa. I think it is a fun way to start the holiday, and provides a fun activity to do with your friends,” Sania Patel (7) said.

It is also fun to celebrate Christmas spirit with your family and friends.  

“With my family we like to decorate the Christmas tree with Christmas music playing in the background. We also like to make Christmas cookies all together,” Noelia Gurley (7) said.
