It’s Beast week! It’s a week where both boys and girls athletics break up into teams and complete challenges. Each team has a team captain who chooses their own team members. Captains are chosen based on who made the most sports. So who was the first team captain and how do they feel?

“I feel like I’m a good leader and I wanted to pick a good team. I had first pick so I was able to pick the person I really want to pick,” ” Reagan Weaver (7) said

Some of the events include, relays, sand bell toss relays, matt carry relays, bar hang, and tug of war. So what are beast week participants most excited for?

“I was excited because I wanted to do the bar hang and throw sand bells,” Calista Shedlman (7) said.

And what were they least excited for?

“I was least excited for the relay races because I don’t like running,”Shedlman said.

With so many events, what were the athletes favorite parts of beast week?

“My favorite part was the bar hang because it was simple and fun,” Shedlman said.
