2015 Greenest Teachers and All-Stars

In honor of Earth Day, during the week of April 20th-24th, Canyon Echoes received nominations for Canyon Vista’s Greenest Teacher. We are pleased to share the results and would like to thank these teachers for having a recycling bin, for using a refillable water bottle, for promoting the Avant Garden, for using technology instead of worksheets, for turning off the lights when they are not in the classroom, or for any other ways they set a great example for our students in saving the Earth.

Mr. Binnicker “He hasn’t shaved in 2 months (conservation of water). Never asks us to use paper. He has a garden of his own at home.” -Radhika Rajalal, 8th grade

Ms. Fritch “She tells us all about stuff like SAVE THE EARTH and etc. She inspired me to do a Global Warming topic. She also taught up many things about how the Earth is very special and needs to be saved. She is a very green teacher because she knows the importance of staying green.” -Richard Lai, 8th grade
