How Did You Feel About Winning District ?
Track season was very rewarding for the Mustangs. Fort wo2 years in a row, the girls have dominated and earned another District Track Championship. Overall, 7th and 8th grade boys and girls earned a RRISD District Championship, which doesn’t happen very often! Canyon Vista did it 2 years in a row
How did I feel during the district track meet? I felt very nervous and happy at the same time during the track meet. But before I was not because I knew at least the girls would get the girl district champs.
Points Added Up
The 8th-grade boys had 20 points from their field and track events. The 8th-grade girls had 207.5 points from their field and track events. The 7th-grade boys had 99 points from their field and track events. The 7th-grade girls had 169 from their field and track events. All of those points add up to a total of 495.5 and we won and got district champs.
