Mrs. Singh, Canyon Vista’s New Mustang
We asked our newest science teacher some questions, here are her answers!
As this year is filled with questions and the unknown, it is always nice to have something good to report about. Canyon Vista is such a great place to go to school, work, and thrive that it’s always exciting to ask someone new to our community. I’d like to share with you a little bit about Canyon Vista’s newest staff member, Priyanka Singh (Mrs Singh for students) our new 7th grade science teacher. She answered some questions we asked her here at Canyon Echoes, and her answers sure are great!
Q: Where did you grow up?
I was born in Roorkee city in North India in the state of Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is
spread over a flat terrain under Sivalik Hills of Himalayas. The city is developed on the
banks of Ganges Canal. Roorkee is home to Asia’s first engineering.
Q: Where have you taught in the past?
I taught Genetics and Cell Biology in Degree college in Roorkee, India.
Q: Where did you receive your education?
I got Bachelors of Science (Chemistry, Biology), Masters of Science (Zoology) from India
and received Master’s Degree (Animal Science) from University Of Wyoming.
Q: What do you think about Canyon Vista so far?
I am very excited to join Canyon Vista MS and looking forward for an exciting journey.
Q: Have you taught any subjects besides science?
No.
Q: Is there anything important you want people to know about you?
Everything I have updated on my schoology because that’s where we are most of the time 😁
