Clash Royale

Clash Royale is a game that most of you have heard of. It was made by supercell as a “sequel” to their earlier, just as popular game Clash of Clans. It is highly popular at the moment.

What is Clash Royale?

Clash Royale is a strategy based game where you win battles against other people and progress higher in arenas. The object of the game is to reach the highest arena: “Legendary Arena” and get as many trophies as possible.

How you play

There is a playing field that looks something like this:

You are always going to be the blue colored player which is closest to you. You and your opponent have three towers. You are trying to place down troops to attack your opponent’s towers and kill them. You get troops by opening chests that you earn from battle.

Clash Royale is a fun game to play if you like good, addicting strategy games. It is definitely worth spending your time on. It has a lot to it and you have to remember how to counter every card in the game and how to make good decks. It is a good way to kill time and it makes you want to keep playing. It isn’t inappropriate so I feel little kids can also play. Some bad points of it include…

  • At a point it seems like you have to pay to win. Other people who pay to win have massively overleveled cards and so they always win. There are cards with the ranting of legendary and they are very hard to get, so to get a legendary card is also a reason to pay money.
  • It can get really frustrating if you keep facing pay to win players (see above). A lot of times you can get frustrated when you go on a huge losing streak or you get stuck between arenas.
  • The game is multiplayer, so in clan chats people can be really rude and there is a lot of swearing. So pick your clans wisely.
