Seventh Grade Red Team Defeats C.D. Fulkes

After the win from the new 7th grade B team this past Monday, A team destroyed the C.D. Fulkes Lizards with a lead of 24. Touchdowns by #12, Luke Hagen and #22, Chase Griffin.
The first quarter started slow. But corner back, Seth Windell had many great tackles that had the crowd applauding.
The first touch down by Hagen was in the second quarter. After #21, Grant Jaegar makes the first down, Hagen makes a catch in the end zone. Coaches Stevenson, Rice and Azios, so excited to see their hard work pay off. They go for a two-point conversion and raise the score to 8-0.
After half time, our team was ready to play their hardest. At the beginning of the quarter, Luke Hagen makes a pass to Chase Griffin who brings it to the end zone, scoring the second touchdown. They went for the two point conversion once again and leave the score board at 16-0.
The last touchdown was made by Hagen in the 4th quarter. Everyone knows who the champions are even before the game ends. The gain two points after the touchdown and celebrate the score of 24 to 0. As the final buzzer sounds, the whole teams is cheering and slapping each other on the back. They all know this is going to be a good season. “I think this is a great start to the season. The game was really fun, plus we kicked their butts.” corner back Seth Windell said after the game. “It’s going to be a great season.”
