Who is Ms. Buentello? Ms. Buentello (Bwen-tayo) is a U.S. history teacher for the eighth grade and a loving mother.“She’s funny, she’s smart, she’s a great mom”- Ms. Fritch said.
She lived in California right up until college.
“It wasn’t so much a wanted to but uh, my dad said, (I was about to go to college) ‘you could stay here in California or you will you will pay for everything here or you can move to Texas with us and we’ll let you live with us and well pay for half your college’, so when you have no money, money talks you will move with your family so, it wasn’t necessarily a choice”-Ms. Buentello said.
In Houston TX (where she moved) She started teaching, and there are some fun stories for that;
“I actually had two students get in a fistfight over the Boston Tea Party they were debating It and got mad because the other one was showing up, like basically like proving their point and they started fighting and then it turned into arguing over a boy” Ms. Buentello said. “It was very odd it was in my second year of teaching and I thought It was the most random thing fight I’ve had to break up, ever” Ms. Buentello said.
Then she moved to Austin TX to teach at CVMS.
She loves traveling; “I love traveling, I like- cause I love learning about new places and the history of places, and oh yea traveling If had like unlimited funds, that’s all I would do besides obviously I like teaching but just to do whatever, I would just go traveling” Ms. Buentello said.
Ms. Buentello’s best friend is Ms. Fritch, an eighth-grade English teacher. Ms. Buentello has a son, she loves teaching and her favorite color is red.
