On February 27, The first track meet of the season was held with Chisholm Trail, Ridgeview, and Canyon Vista. Canyon Vista. placed 2nd. The first two track meets were canceled due to the weather.
“Due to weather and field conditions at the track meet location, the track meet scheduled for today 2/12 has been canceled and will not be rescheduled,” Coach Azios said.
The 100 hurdles are an event where you run and jump over a hurdle.
“When I was running I was focusing on beating the people in front of me and focusing on my form,” Eli Windwillow said.
High jump is an event where you attempt to run up a curved path and jump to try to get your body over the bar.
“ I focused on the way I jumped off the ground and form going over the bar.” Quinn White said.
