Democrats Still Can’t Accept the Trump Presidency?
It has been over nine months since Donald Trump became president, and the 2016 election definitely shocked the whole world. As the campaign went on, friends and families were divided based on their political opinions. Republicans were thrilled as their candidate became the United States’ 45th president, but let’s just say that the Democrats didn’t have mutual feelings.
President Trump has made some major executive decisions, including the climate change policy, the travel ban, coal waste and many more. Still, the liberals aren’t pleased, and they are voicing out their opinion by meeting across the country.
More than 2,500 will attend and about 15,000 as interested. As strange as this might sound, this is actually a real event, so if you hear anyone talking about politics, don’t be surprised! This event is going to be held on Nov.8, marking the one year anniversary of Donald Trump’s election. It’s not the best thing for liberals to do, because their screaming implies defeat.
This works out very well for Trump on the other hand, as he loves his opponents raging against the fact that he won. The sentiments behind this rally is reasonable because Donald Trump didn’t win because of the popular vote but because of the electoral college. Liberals still try and reason out on how the 2016 election wasn’t fair, but it may not make much of a difference now.
Still though, this was a hard defeat for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, but she’s still in the game and has published her own book in early September named “What Happened.” There is even a site that publishes fake news pretending that Clinton won. This shows that the Democrats are still holding on, but they’ve got to accept reality.
Nov.8 marks a year since Donald Trump won the election, and I look forward to see what comes next!
