Student Council representative elections are this week during Advisory! The Student Council serves all Canyon Vista students by representing our school in district wide events. The Student Council officers seek and build camaraderie to make improvements to the school through fundraisers, dances, and pep rallies.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Canyon Vista Student Council, make sure to participate in this event. Elections will be held during your Advisory period between September 15th – 19th. Two representatives will be elected from each advisory class. In addition, an alternate representative will be elected in case the other two cannot attend meetings. These advisory representatives are “the key to maximal in-person communications between the student body and Student Council,” Student Council President Lauren Parker said.

Each member will represent Canyon Vista and have the opportunity to contribute and make Canyon Vista a better place. Representatives are required to attend every meeting which occurs every other Tuesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Consider being part of the Student Council and making Canyon Vista a better school!
