United States Congressman Michael McCaul recognized Canyon Vista’s accomplishments in the National Science Bowl Competition and visited campus on April 21st, to speak to our students. McCaul was very inspirational and encouraged students to continue their pursuits in the area of science. 

Congressman McCaul represents the 10th Congressional District. He is the chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security, serves on the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, and is a founder and co-chair of the U.S. House High Tech Caucus.
