Día de Los Muertos is a holiday celebrated on the 1st and 2nd of November. It is a Mexican holiday created to remember the dead.

Ofrendas

Ofrendas are altars used to honor the dead by placing all their favorite foods and beverages next to a picture of them. Toys are brought to deceased children, and liquor is a common drink too.

Food

Food is a very important part of Day of the Dead. Lots of sweets are made, such as candy skulls and pan de muerto, a sweet bun. Drinks include pulque, and atole.

Skulls are also a very crucial symbol for Day of The Dead.
