Thursday November 30th, the B-team girl’s basketball team beat Ridgeview 24-17, at Canyon Vista. It was a tight game, but the team managed to stay a couple of points ahead each quarter.

The game started with Sriya Ailnani ‘ 34 winning the jump ball, and the team soon after scored the first point. It was a low-scoring game. Ridgeview started with a good defense, a player, ‘30 stole the ball consistently throughout the game.

“I think that not passing to their teammates sometimes was a mistake” Amy Miersma said “But they did try.”

The third-quarter started with Violet Everard ‘15 scoring 2 points off a foul, and Ridgeview scored soon after. The third quarter ended with a tie 15-15.

In the fourth quarter, the mustangs? We know its b team. made more shots and was soon in a more comfortable position. The game ended with a score of 27-17.

The Lady Mustangs B-team will be headed to a tournament at Hopewell Middle School on Saturday. The first game starts at 9:00, to get tickets go to the Canyon Vista Athletics page.
