Book Review: Nil
Spoiler Alert: Be careful what you wish for you might just get it. (Reference: 2 book Nil Unlocked)
The last thing Charley felt was heat. When she woke up she was on an island alone. Today is Thad’s 267th day on Nil. On Nil there is only one rule you have 365 days to catch a gate home or you die. Every day, Every hour and Every minute counts. Tick-Tock. Lynne Matson is the author of these great adventures that continue with different characters throughout the four books of this incredible trilogy.
I am currently reading the third Nil book (Nil on Fire) and I will give you a word of warning this book is addicting once you start you can’t stop until your done. The first book tells a story like anyone book would do but the next one tells what happens after and so on. The book is written in the first person one chapter Charley talks the other Thad. And new surprising characters are added throughout the books.
I know the summary I gave you is very short but telling more would make you too aware and prepared. Full of twist and turns Lynne Matson does a great job to make you enter the character’s head and see what they see. With a different point of view in each chapter, you can quickly figure out the solution to all problems. And for those who the adventure doesn’t seem appealing, several love stories are involved. This book is the proof that love can make you do extraordinary things. The Nil trilogy is very intense and realistic.
So next time you are looking for a great book to read ask your librarian for Nil!
