Q- Why did you decide to get a toad for your classroom?
A- It was a gift given to me by one of my students on the last day of school.
Q- How do you think having a class pet will help your students learn?
A- It can teach them about the ecosystem and environment.
Q- Is the toad ever a distraction?
A- It was on the first week of school, but now the students are used to it.
Q- Are there any downsides to having her?
A- I feel like she gets lonely, since she’s just by herself.
Q- What’s the story behind her being a girl named Harry?
A- The student named her, and thought she was a male but we discovered she was a girl.
