Mrs.Collins admiring Harry the Toad

Zack Catuogno, Reporter

Q- Why did you decide to get a toad for your classroom?

A-  It was a gift given to me by one of my students on the last day of school.

Q- How do you think having a class pet will help your students learn?

A- It can teach them about the ecosystem and environment.

Q- Is the toad ever a distraction?

A-  It was on the first week of school, but now the students are used to it.

Q- Are there any downsides to having her?

A-  I feel like she gets lonely, since she’s just by herself.

Q- What’s the story behind her being a girl named Harry?

A- The student named her, and thought she was a male but we discovered she was a girl.
