In the last century, there have been many extremely popular sitcoms. Friends is the most popular one among them.

Friends is a sitcom starring Matthew Perry, Jennifer Anniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, and Courtney Cox. It is about six best friends that live in the same apartment complex in New York City. All ten seasons of Friends were on the top ten of the final television rating, ultimately reaching the number one spot it during their eighth season. The series finale of Friends attracted 52.5 million viewers.

People didn’t just want to watch Friends, they wanted to be friends with the main characters, Ross Geller, Rachel Green, Joey Tribbiani, Monica Geller, Chandler Bing, and Phoebe Buffay. Ross, the most intelligent member of the group, known for has many failed marriages and his lovable yet goofy demeanor. Monica, Ross’ Sister, is known for her cleaning OCD as well as her former overweight self. Chandler, the funniest character, is known for his sarcastic jokes. Phoebe is an eccentric masseuse and musician who sings at the local coffee house. Joey, known for his macho, sandwich-loving behavior, is an actor who is out of work throughout many of the 10 seasons.

The show was filmed in the Warner Bros studio in Burbank, California. For some time in the late 90’s and the early 00’s Friends was the most sought-after show for all actors to be on. Many interviewers have asked the stars of Friends whether or not they think there will be a reunion. When Lisa Kudrow, the actor behind the eccentric Phoebe Buffay, was asked on a possible Friends reunion, she responded “That was about people in their twenties, thirties, the show isn’t about people in their forties and fifties”, she admitted. “And if we have the same problems, then that’s just sad.” So we don’t know whether or not there will be a Friends reunion, but one thing we know for sure, Friends will not be forgotten and that’s for sure.
