Where Can You Walk from Canyon Vista?

Chances are, you’ve never had to walk anywhere but home from Canyon Vista. But if you’ve got no homework and some time to kill, where can you go?

This is probably incredibly hypothetical but it doesn’t hurt to know, I suppose.

So. From the Canyon Vista bus canopy, you can walk 20 minutes along the sidewalk by Spicewood Springs road to our first location, Cupprimo! Cupprimo is a great cupcake place that serves lots of different special flavors on designated days of the week, along with classic flavors every day including vanilla, double chocolate, and oreo. One Google review by Sharon Grooms (Local Guide) states “Smoothies, coffee that is fabulous plus espresso drinks to order, regular cupcakes plus vegan and gluten-free cupcakes daily. Cupcakes to die for, try the blue velvet cupcakes, butterbeer cupcakes or any of their great flavors!”. Another by Morgan Menendez says “By far the best cupcake joint in ATX! Amazing service, friendly staff, delicious cupcakes, and dank coffee!”. I personally have to say that the cupcakes there are amazing, and if you hypothetically have the time in your day to walk 20 minutes to Cupprimo, I recommend that you do.

From Cupprimo, you can walk three minutes to get to the nearest HEB. All you have to do is take a right upon exiting the strip mall, walk to the corner, cross the street and there you are. One Google review by Gina Talbot (Local Guide) states “HEB is a good store, I worked there in the past and they were a pretty good company except most of the employees are part-time and they have crazy rotating schedules. Their store brands are as good as the brand name items in most cases and they are better than the brands in some cases. They are cheaper than the other stores in the area. Even though they are one of the largest grocery store chains in the country, they are local and much of their private label items are obtained locally. Their customer service is pretty good, if you ask someone for help, they are always willing to assist you. They can get crowded and waiting in long lines is a drag but they do try to get you in and out of the check out as quickly as possible. The kids love the buddy bucks for some reason, mostly they are hoping for the instant win prize, but they always want to get buddy bucks and spin the wheel. Large selection and good prices. I will continue to shop at HEB as long as I live in Texas.”. In my experience, this HEB should have everything you could really want foodwise, and you could even pick up some groceries while you’re there.

There are several other stores within easy walking distance of these two, but I personally am always hungry after school, so Cupprimo and HEB would be ideal if I were to pick a place to walk from Canyon Vista. That being said, this information will likely never help me personally, but as I said before, it doesn’t hurt to know.
