The Xbox One is an old, but sturdy console. It continues to support a wide variety of games, including games from the Xbox 360 and even the original Xbox. The Xbox also has some very good exclusives, such as the Forza Franchise. It supports many apps, such as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, making the Xbox an all-around, not one for video games only.

The Xbox also has a very good online system. All you have to do to make someone a friend is search them up and press “make friend”. This may seem like a security concern, but it is possible to reject the friend request.  You can also see when friends are online and what game they are playing. This makes it much easier to organize a game with friends. You can appear offline if you don’t want to play online with friends at a certain time. Chatting with friends on Xbox is fairly easy. You can create a party and simply invite friends to it. Though most games only allow 4 people to a party, the Xbox party can exceed four people.

The graphics of the Xbox one are not perfect, and when running games that use the online feature heavily, such as Fortnite or Player’s Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG), there can sometimes be lag. Though the lag isn’t excessive, these games depend on fractions of a second and the lag will mess things up. The Xbox One sometimes isn’t able to log you in and has to be unplugged and then plugged in again. When recording a clip on Xbox for youtube, the Xbox cannot record voice and can only record game audio. This makes it so that you have to do a voiceover to be able to actually get voice into the video.

The Xbox One overall is a quality video game console, though it could do with a few improvements.
