Shining Writing: A Dream and A Girl
Here is a poem from a student at CVMS.
A Dream
¨I once had a dream ̈
A dream of love and pain.
A dream of a thousand words,
When none were said at all.
I dream of a dream that’s so confusing,
That it makes perfect sense.
A dream that I won’t and CAN’T forget.
A dream that you write down.
A dream that replays in your head.
A dream that keeps going even when you’re awake.
I dream of love, of pain, of light, and dark.
I dream of the past, and hopes of the future.
A future that might not come true,
But a dream that will always be true in my head.
Nothing else needs to be said besides I dream.

Here is another poem by the same person.
A Girl.
A girl.
A girl with a plan.
Shes has enough of your rules.
Shes always been told what,
And what not to do.
But…
ENOUGH!
Shes had it tuff.
Nobody can fix what has been broken.
But she will fly free with her new window open.
