Throwback to Trends from Last School Year
Middle school is full of trends and fads. Let’s take a look at last year’s, and discuss whether they are long gone, or still thriving.
- Trump vs. Hilary: Dead
- Dabbing: Sadly, it’s not dead yet.
- Slime: Still selling around school, despite a rule against it
- “Lit, bro:” Still going
- “Cash me outside, how bout dat:” .
- Fidget Spinners: They’re slowly disappearing, but of course, for students with Attention Deficit Disorder and other focusing issues, they’re more of a coping skill
- Despacito: It still haunts us.
- The “Whip and Nae-Nae:” It can no longer be stuck in the heads of the new millennial.
- Harambe: Dead… just like Harambe. (Too soon?)
- Water Bottle Flipping: We will all secret flip outside school.
