Flash Season 3 Review
Flash season 3 is all about Barry Allen and the consequences he faces because he created Flashpoint, an alternate timeline in which the reverse flash (Eobard Thawne) never kills Nora Allen, and Barry’s father ,Henry Allen, never gets framed for the murder of Nora Allen.
It starts out with Barry Allen living as if his mother was never murdered. In this alternate timeline nobody knows the flash and Barry slowly starts to forget about his life as the flash. The more he uses his speed, the faster his memories go away. He decides to change it back by taking Eobard Thawne back to the date Nora Allen dies and letting him kill her. The timeline resets and the paradox hits him. Barry does not realize the consequences of him altering the timeline. He is shocked to see the results of Flashpoint when he returns. For starters, Julian Albert who has supposedly been working with Barry for a year and does not like him. Iris is still angry at Joe, Cisco’s brother Dante is dead, and Caitlin has the powers of Killer Frost.
As Barry slowly adjusts to his regular but different life he accidentally goes into the future and sees Savitar Killing Iris. They do many things to change the future but it does not work. Barry gets engaged to Iris in attempt to change the future. Savitar tries to speak to them through Julian who knows Barry is the Flash and has had experience with the philosopher’s stone. They find out Savitar is a time remnant of Barry. Caitlin becomes Killer Frost and joins forces with Savitar. They recruit H.R Wells, Harrison Wells’ doppelganger, from earth 19.
So does Iris West die?
