Thailand in five words would be colorful, beautiful, cultural , exotic and vibrant. Known as the land of smiles, Thailand is filled with majestic palaces, beautiful beaches, snow white sand, pillar temples, colorful small stores that fill the market, mouthwatering food and much more. Thailand also has many fun activities to do like snorkelling, making it a great destination for great summer.

Khao Phing Kan or James Bond Island

Khao Phing Kan is one of the most beautiful islets in the world. The fascinating environment was just breathtaking. The water is as clear as crystal and blue as the sky. You travel to the islands in a small canoe and can even volunteer to row the boat. The ride is very gentle and calm and allows visitors admire all the beauty. If you are lucky enough to pass another tour guide, you’ll get a rose made from bamboo.

Once you reach the island, be careful for little crabs and your shoes! They will get ruined. And by any chance, do not sit down, you will get crab pinches everywhere.

The Floating Market

The floating market is one of the best experiences you will ever have. You shop sitting in a boat, rowing along the colorful bazaar. The vendors are always smiling and always try to impress you with their new tricks and techniques. One of the main tourist attractions is how they cook the food in the boat and pass it to you. The food served there is very appetizing and the aroma will make your mouth water. One of my favorites was the Khlong Lat Mayom. It feels like a garden oasis filled with trees, and has a very calm and relaxed environment.

Sunday Walking Street

The Sunday Walking Street was one of the most colorful and liveliest markets I have ever seen. Walking along the path feels like a different world. Filled with bouncy vendors and cheerful tourists, you can get some of the best native creations like small decorated wooden boxes, local art, small carved statues and other handicrafts for a great price. The Sunday Walking Market really comes alive at night. All the street entertainers, Thai dancers, and musicians start to perform while all the colored lights are on.

Similan Island: Snorkeling

Visitors travel to the island in a boat. The food served there is the bomb, too. You can even get shrimp snacks! The water is so clear that you can see the fish swimming around. The scenery of the white sand beach with piles of rocks and greenery that surround it is amazing. When tourists reach the midway point to the island, they change into a diving suit and jump in the water. Snorkelers can move around with very little effort. Travelers get to swim with the fish, alongside the beauties of the ocean.

After you get back in the boat, you are immediately served with some delicious Thai soup.

Thailand is a marvelous place to visit with all the beautiful beaches, relaxing environment and cheerful people. If you want a relaxing and worry free vacation, Thailand is the place for you.
