My Most Embarrassing Moment
Everybody has embarrassing moments in life. It’s just something we have to deal with and move forward from. A lot of embarrassing parts of life are just things that you have to overcome in order to get to where you want to be. For me, that moment was in keystone, 2017.
When my family and I went on a vacation to Colorado we went skiing with our cousins in the Keystone ski resort. I started going down the bunny hill a lot because it was my first time skiing. I had gotten comfortable enough to where I could go down the hill as fast as possible without losing control. Or so I thought.
I was doing what I thought I was capable of and I definitely wasn’t ready for it at all. I was going down as fast as possible and as I approached the end of the hill, I started to sink down in between my skis. There was practically a cliff straight ahead of me and my whole waist and up was dragging along the snow.
I was speeding down the hill when I realized I was heading straight for a large group of teenage boys. When they saw me they immediately moved out of the way. I remember them yelling out, “Comin’ in hot!” I was so embarrassed that when I finally stopped I tried running away but I was wearing skis so that didn’t go as planned. They asked if I was ok I told them I was, even though I was almost too humiliated to answer. And that’s my most embarrassing story.
