Five Activities to Try Out During Quarantine


Quarantine is very boring for us all, surely, and there are many things you can do during it. There is the simple stuff, like exercising, reading a book, watching movies, but I am going to tell you about five new activities! I’m sure you haven’t thought of at least one of these things, so there’s always something new to try out!

Re-organize your living space.
Whether it’s just cleaning up your room, to completely redecorating your house, surely there’s always something to do! You could give your room a theme, like the sky, and add stars, a moon, make it completely black(if your parents are fine with it), so on and so forth.

Try to learn an instrument.
Music is fun to listen to, and fun to play, so I’d recommend trying to go learn one. From piano, to guitar, to even something like a flute, there are many, many instruments for you to play. It may take a while to learn, but enjoying music that you made can be really fun!

Write a story.
You could have a journal detailing each day of the Coronavirus, or write a fictional story detailing a mystical and magical kingdom. The only limiting factor is your imagination!

Spend time with your family
We’re spending so much time inside, stuck with our families, may as well make the best of it. Watch movies together, work out together, eat as a family(if you don’t normally), so on and so forth. You could play board games, go on walks(practicing social distancing of course), hike, and just have fun together!

Learn a new language
There are apps should as Duolingo, which allow you to learn a new language easily and quickly. You could also do this with the language you are currently learning, and be a step ahead of the rest of your class.

All in all, there are plenty of ways to keep yourself entertained and happy during quarantine. Maybe try a few of these activities, and see how it goes!
