Our first Canyon Vista PTA meeting was held on September 5th. We are very excited for a great new school year.

This meeting’s topic was about what’s happening here at Canyon Vista. We are very proud to say that our school received RRISD Distinction Designations in Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, Student Progress, and Post-Secondary Readiness.

We are celebrating many things that are coming or have already been done here at school such as our Canyon Vista LOTE Department being awarded a $49,396 grant for a mobile world language learning lab, our Canyon Vista band earned the “Mark of Excellence” award, and many more school awards.

We are planning to improve our school in many ways such as building college readiness and a steady foundation for our core classes. For the full list click here.
