Thank you so much for all your help even after school. I learned a lot from you, and you made the confusing things easy. And thanks for being the best math teacher I ever had!

Thank you for teaching me that writing is a skill that evolves over time. Thank you for teaching me that reading is like being in a whole other world. Thank you for teaching me how to find my voice through writing. But, most of all thank you for being the fun, energetic, silly, and engaging teacher that never stopped encouraging me to learn. I will always say hi to you in the hallways, Natalie.

Thank you for teaching me that you never stop learning, that science keeps evolving and growing, that in order to learn you need to understand. You taught me to appreciate what science has accomplished and to continue that accomplishing. You inspired me to have a career in science, thank you for everything, Natalie.

Thank you for all the help you’ve given me on becoming a better violinist. You have really boosted my confidence and given me great tips on anything and everything. You somehow find a way to bring together a bunch of separate players and unite them as a single voice to spread music to others. You may have taught some of the most annoying of students in your life, yet you show no bitterness towards others. You are kind and generous, and you work to not only be a teacher, but a friend to others. Thank you for all the years of teaching students at Canyon Vista!

To be honest, at the beginning of the year, I heard our band, and I thought, “oh my god we suck.” and then you worked your magic and now I can’t even describe how good we sound. You are an amazing band director, and thank you for all of your help on everything. Thank you for making me laugh during band with your jokes and “dance moves”;)

Thanks for giving us the freedom to legitimately write. I know the couch clique in 3rd period is loud, but whatever you may think, we actually do get work done… usually..

To: Mrs. Downs

Thanks for actually helping me comprehend geometry… I give you a rating of “TAN” out of ten. Sometimes it can get a little “Trig”-y, but you always pull through. Without you I’d most certainly be getting a “29” in your class. (ahahaha 4th period inside jokes).
