Apple Music vs. Spotify

Apple+Music+vs.+Spotify

There are many ways to listen to music. Apple Music is a music streaming service founded on June 30, 2015. It costs $9.99 for a single user plan and $14.99 for a family plan with up to 6 users. It gives you access to unlimited songs on iTunes.  You can listen to these songs over cellular data and WiFi, or you can download it in order to listen to it offline. Apple Music also gives you a three-month trial to decide if Apple Music is the right fit for you. You can also submit your songs for inclusion in Apple Music.  The cons of Apple Music are even though they have 30 million songs they do not have the full iTunes catalog. Apple Music does not have a free option supported by advertisements.

Spotify is another music streaming service we are looking at today. Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Spotify is a music, podcast, and video streaming service that was officially launched on October 7, 2008. Spotify has a free option where you can listen to music but cannot select specific songs. It is always on shuffle for a Spotify playlist. There are also countless commercials, there’s no point in using Spotify. Spotify premium charges $9.99 a month. You can get Spotify premium 50% off if you are an eligible college student. If you have a family that wants to use Spotify but doesn’t want to pay $9.99 each account, there’s a solution. Spotify Premium for Family allows you to have up to 6 accounts on the same family plan for just $ 14.99.
